BAJAJ PULSAR NS 200:
This is another 200cc machine from Bajaj Motors. It is the naked version of Pulsar RS 200 which comes with single channel ABS. This naked beast is one of the most famous 200cc machines in Indian Market. This motorcycle comes with 199.5cc BS VI DTS-i engine which produces power of 24.2 bhp @9750 rpm and torque of 18.5Nm @8000 rpm, it is a single cylinder 4 valve liquid cooled fuel injected triple spark engine. The kerb weight of this machine is 156kg, and the fuel tank capacity of this bike is 12L which give mileage of 35-37kmpl.The price of this machine is ₹1,32,000 ex-showroom. It is known for its performance in the market. This bike is performance oriented bike so the rider who want a powerful machine whose top end performance is excellent, they can go for NS200 thou there is other naked bikes too in Indian Market like KTM Duke 200 and TVS Apache RTR200 but these bikes aren’t budget friendly bikes. We will talk about them later.
So if you can compromise with features like xCONNECT, LED headlamp, led turn indicators, LED DRLs and fully digital meter console for the best budget friendly performance oriented and good looking naked 200cc machine, you can definitely go for NS200.
Downsides:
· Fit and finish is not so well.
· Vibration issues.
· No gear position indicator.
· Halogen headlamp and DRLs.
KTM DUKE 200:
KTM DUKE 200: This is another naked 200cc machine which is so famous in Indian Market. KTM is known for its excellent performance and best built quality. KTM Duke 200 comes with199.5cc BS VI engine which produces power of 24.6 bhp@10000 and torque of 19.2 Nm@8000rpm, it is a single cylinder 4 valve liquid cooled fuel injected engine and the kerb weight of this motorcycle is 159kg. This naked beast has very great engine which is so powerful. The sharp looks and attractive design of this motorcycle drives youngsters and all bike lovers crazy. But when it comes to price this machine costs ₹1,79,000 ex-showroom which seems quite expensive in its segment though KTM offers best products but these are kind of overpriced. This bike offers dual channel ABS in it with USD front suspensions, LED turn indicators and DRLs, fully digital meter console and aluminum swing arms which makes it a lot better machine than Bajaj Pulsar NS200. But you have to pay 50K extra for these features and if you can compromise with these features and want same power as KTM Duke 200 and want a budget friendly bike you can choose Bajaj Pulsar NS200 or RS200.
Downsides:
· Low ground clearance.
· Weight is increased by 11kg of BS VI KTM Duke, due to which performance has dropped.
· Fuel efficiency is low.
TVS APACHE RTR 200 4V:
Downsides:
· 5-speed gearbox transmission.
· Not so powerful as compare to its rivals.
· Pillion seat is not so comfortable.
· Vibrations at high speed.
